# Robbery & Pocket Wiping

### Low-Quality Roleplay (LQRP) Robberies Are Prohibited <a href="#low-quality-roleplay-lqrp-robberies-are-prohibited" id="low-quality-roleplay-lqrp-robberies-are-prohibited"></a>

* You cannot kill or rob someone simply because they called you a name or insulted you (e.g., being called a “dweeb”). That is considered low-quality RP.

### Stage 1 Engagement Robbery <a href="#stage-1-engagement-robbery" id="stage-1-engagement-robbery"></a>

* After a proper RP conflict (e.g., a fight/scrap), you may rob the opposing party.
* You must not “flatback” (kill) the person after robbing them unless it’s escalated properly and justified by prior RP.
* Stage 1 ends the moment the conflict concludes or both parties disengage.

### Stage 2 Robbing (After Prolonged RP) <a href="#stage-2-robbing-after-prolonged-rp" id="stage-2-robbing-after-prolonged-rp"></a>

* If you provide prolonged and quality RP after a fight (Stage 1), and the scenario naturally escalates, the person may slip into Stage 2.
* In this case, you may only rob their illegal items (e.g., dirty money, drugs, illegal weapons).
* Taking legal or personal items (like phones, IDs, legal cash, or clothing) is not allowed unless there’s strong RP reasoning and escalation.

### No Chain Robbing / Rule play <a href="#no-chain-robbing-ruleplay" id="no-chain-robbing-ruleplay"></a>

* Repeatedly robbing the same person or group without meaningful RP progression is not allowed.
* Staff will prioritise roleplay quality over rule play technicalities when handling reports.

### Use Common Sense and Provide Good RP <a href="#use-common-sense-and-provide-good-rp" id="use-common-sense-and-provide-good-rp"></a>

* Always ensure your robbery has a solid roleplay foundation and is not just a means to gain items or grief another player. If in doubt, escalate with RP and leave room for staff interpretation.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://doj.secondliferp.com/second-life-rp/server-rules/robbery-and-pocket-wiping.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
